About the role
You will be partnering closely with the current Facility Manager at a well-established international organisation. This is a vital role during a particularly busy period filled with multiple projects and operational demands. Your main mission will be to support and co-lead daily operations, enhancing efficiency while providing hands-on leadership alongside the existing manager and the local team. Your collaboration will ensure continued excellence in service delivery to employees and stakeholders alike. Based primarily at the Aarhus site, you will engage regularly with the team and key stakeholders and may occasionally visit other locations across Mid-Jutland. Work tasks
In partnership with the current Facility Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting and managing the local team, fostering a positive working climate and clear communication
- Acting as a reliable partner for stakeholders by addressing concerns and enhancing responsiveness
- Driving process improvements and boosting operational efficiency
- Help overseeing cost control and administrative duties
- Monitoring ongoing projects to ensure deadlines and expectations are met
We are looking for
- Someone who has proven experience as a Facility Manager, Site Manager, or similar, ideally in service- and stakeholder-focused organisations, capable of operating independently at a high level.
- Someone who is confident in managing people, even during pressured times.
- Someone who quickly adapts to new systems and processes, with strong digital skills, including Excel.
- Someone who has budget and cost control experience.
- Someone who communicates clearly and effectively in English, both spoken and written.
- Someone who balances professionalism with approachability, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills to listen, guide, and motivate.
- Someone who works independently, prioritises effectively, and keeps an overview under pressure.
- Someone who lives near Aarhus and is open to occasional travel within Mid-Jutland.
It is meritorious if you
- Have technical facility management experience.
- Communicate clearly and effectively in Danish, both spoken and written.
