Work tasks

  • In your role as Country Manager, you will be responsible for the Danish market and all sales processes from A to Z. Since Lamb Weston does not have an office in Denmark, all work will be conducted from your home office or on the road.
  • You will be the main point of contact for wholesalers in Denmark. During customer meetings, you will need to present the product and position it in comparison to their existing products in their assortment. Both internal and external customer meetings will involve the use of PowerPoint as a tool for presentations.

  • You will develop new sales opportunities and meet the needs of established customers. You will leverage your product and customer knowledge to educate customers on storage, handling, and preparation of products, and how these products can contribute to their bottom line.
  • You will focus on Lamb Weston/Meijer's customer strategy by specifically targeting Lamb Weston's gold and silver accounts and tailoring them with specific value-added specialties and appetizer sales.
  • You will function as a regional coordinator and work closely with international Key Account Managers to ensure that key customers are managed and handled consistently throughout Denmark and sometimes across borders.
  • You will maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through optimal accessibility, timely communication, accurate order placement, forecasting, order tracking and shipment, and follow-up with customers.

We are looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in sales within the wholesale food industry, within the latest year of your work experience
  • Have familiarity with the main wholesalers in Denmark
  • Fluent in both written and spoken Danish and English
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • General understanding of CRM or ERP systems and the importance of using them in your sales work
  • B driver's license
