About the role

We are currently seeking an accountant for one of our clients for their office in Greater Copenhagen. In this role, you will be part of an international accounting department where the team aims for high quality and strong cohesion. Your main responsibility will be to handle the balancing and bookkeeping for a range of the company's international subsidiaries. Furthermore, it is important that you are comfortable communicating daily with your colleagues, both in Denmark and internationally, as there will be occasions when you need to address financial inquiries and potential issues.

Work tasks

  • Debtor and creditor bookkeeping
  • Budgeting and budget follow-ups
  • Monthly and quarterly closures: depreciations, periodizations, currencies, etc.
  • VAT reporting

We are looking for

  • someone who has relevant experience in a similar position in a danish company, enabling the execution of the presented tasks at an acceptable level
  • someone who has a relevant education, such as financial economist, auditor, finance assistant, or office education with a specialization in economics
  • someone who can communicate proficiently in English (both written and spoken) and is at least an advanced beginner (A2) in Danish
  • someone who has an affinity for IT, as large ERP systems and Excel are used
  • someone located in Denmark

It is meritorious if you

  • can communicate proficiently in Spanish (both written and spoken)
  • have prior experience with Navision
  • have experience with group-level bookkeeping
